• These special people need our help. As long as I have known Mike Grady, which has been all my life, he has done nothing but work hard and sacrifice for his wonderful family. His supportive loving wife Mary has done the same. The last few years Mike has been struggling with health issues relating to his esophagus. Surgery after surgery with little relief. Earlier this year he was finally diagnosed with esophageal cancer and has had surgery to remove part of his esophagus and stomach. Before the surgery he notified his employer that he had cancer and would be needing surgery. 45 minutes after he told them they fired him. He lost his insurance and his wife income is just barely keeping them afloat as they now have to pay for cobra insurance. He had some complications from the surgery and Mary has missed a lot of work to care for him. He has chemo in his future and this family could really use some help. UPDATE: results came back stage 3 cancer but they think they got it all and didn’t spread. Waiting for second opinion. Thank you all for your support and prayers! We can’t thank you enough!
