My beloved cousin, Miguel Gomez, a devoted and loving father of four and a dedicated member of the Naples community, is facing the fight of his life against a rare and aggressive cancer.

Recognizing the significant financial burden of ongoing treatments, future surgeries, medications, traveling, and lodging, I, his cousin Hilda Bedolla, am stepping in to do what Miguel would never ask for himself: launching this GoFundMe campaign.

Raised in Labelle, Florida, Miguel is known by many as a devoted and loving father to his four young children, a cherished brother, a treasured cousin, a charismatic friend, and a dedicated lead technician serving the Naples, Florida community.

His journey has just begun with a diagnosis of Desmoplastic small round cell tumor, a rare and aggressive soft tissue sarcoma that requires extensive and specialized treatment.

Miguel exemplifies unparalleled strength and resilience, drawing comfort and courage from the Bible verse Isaiah 41:10: "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Despite the overwhelming burden, his faith empowers him to focus on being victorious in this battle and maintaining a sense of normalcy for his family.
