"Messages from Morgan" is an orca whale awareness film from the ocean to the human heart that weaves animal intelligence, ocean cultures, indigenous wisdom, rights of Nature, and our ancient aquatic connections for modern times. When we join together for the orca, we are reconnecting our disconnect!“
This is not just a film - it’s a paradigm shift in the stories we're having with ourselves, and the possibilities with the seas' oldest telecommunicators.
For every heart that has ever been touched by an animal, or a dolphin’s gaze, this is your film! Imagine the emotional depth of “My Octopus Teacher,” blended with the spiritual force of “Whale Rider” - yet told through the voices of indigenous cultures, the biggest dolphin, and modern humanity... unlocking a sacred invitation to remember who we are!
This project also offers a transformational lens into dolphin and whale consciousness, weaving together animal communication, science, indigenous wisdom, investigative journalism, and the arts to rewrite our human story with cetaceans.
What Is "Messages from Morgan?”
This is the first immersive documentary and communication project led by an explorer and artist in direct contact with wild and captive orca - exploring emotional intelligence, spiritual insights, and discovering environmental reflections through experiences, insights from close orca relations with indigenous people, and modern day people's beliefs surrounding the orca "rights of Nature."
Morgan was separated from her pod in the North Sea at just 2.5 years old. After over 16 years in captivity, her life continues in confinement off the coast of Spain with her new baby, and two fellow orca.
Why This Project Matters!
This isn’t just about one dolphin and her companions. It’s about all of us.
We’re at a turning point on Planet Earth, and human empathy.
"Messages from Morgan" invites you into a space where the POSSIBILITIES of healing, clarity, and connection can be accessed through interspecies wisdom and culture.
- Reawakening our daily abilities for compassion and common sense.
- Indigenous knowledge is honored, not forgotten.
- Animal intelligence is valued, not dismissed.
- ‘Rights of Nature’ becomes part of our conversations and legislation.
Your contribution today helps turn this film into legacy moments for orca, animal advocacy, planetary healing, and human empathy.
Big Questions This Film Will Explore!
- Can dolphins and whales help us solve our environmental crises and human dilemmas?
- Is it possible to communicate with the oldest “telecommunicator” on Earth?
- Could recognizing orcas as non-human people help shift global policies?
- What if orca consciousness holds wisdom we’ve forgotten as humans?
“We can’t solve today’s problems with the mentality that created them.” - Albert Einstein

Travels costs, filming, and further documentation that supports the oldest living captive orca in San Diego, "Corky," by visiting her proposed sea sanctuary in the PNW.
A Bit of the Backstory
“Messages from Morgan” is Dove’s 3rd and most intimate film about Morgan’s life and the orca that share her plight. The first two, “Free Morgan PSA” and “Free Morgan”, received attention across film festivals and ocean advocacy circles.
This next chapter introduces animal communication, cultural insights, and cutting-edge advocacy.
This is not about control, it’s about creative expression, compassion, and letting the world hear Morgan and her kin speak their truth!
