I once had a career I loved, a life I cherished, and dreams that felt so tangible. But six years ago, everything changed. I landed in the hospital for years with a cascade of symptoms: uncontrollable nausea, chest pains, heart rate complications, tremors, seizures, dizziness, fainting episodes, breathing complications, pressure headaches, excruciating pain, and debilitating fatigue. On top of that came confusion, cognitive difficulties, and the sheer emotional weight of it all. My body and brain were failing me, and no one could explain why.

Hospitals became my world. Endless IV ports and PICC lines, the constant beeping of monitors, the sterile smell of hospitals, the dim fluorescent lights, and the uncertainty etched into every conversation among my care team. Despite seeing some of the best doctors at Cleveland Clinic and hospitals in San Diego, Montana, and Idaho. traditional medicine couldn’t provide answers. My care team, despite their best efforts, had to send me home without a recovery plan—and little hope to survive.

My mom, with her unwavering love and determination, refused to give up. She became my rock, my advocate, and my constant source of strength. Together, we committed to trying anything: conventional treatments, holistic approaches, experimental therapies, and clinical trials. If someone had told me standing in a lightning storm with a metal rod would cure me, I would have done it without hesitation. I still would.

For years, it felt like fighting against an impossible current. Progress was hard-fought, and never guaranteed. There were moments I thought I couldn’t keep going—days when the weight of my reality felt unbearable, and hope seemed out of reach. But with the support of incredible, life-changing people, I’ve been able to access treatments that pulled me from the brink of death. Today, I’m significantly better than I was, but I’m still far from where I need to be. Tasks that were once second nature are now monumental challenges. The emotional toll is immense, but I keep fighting because I believe what lies ahead can be better than what’s behind me.

Now, I’m facing the next chapter of this journey, and I need help to turn the page. I’m unable to work, and while my mom works tirelessly to provide what she can, the cost of daily life and treatments has drained our resources. My treatments have been transformative, but they’re also expensive. I need more time, more care, and more support to continue moving forward.

Your donations will directly support the next critical steps in my journey to healing. One of the primary goals is to undergo another round of treatment with Dr. Nathan Keiser, a neurologist whose care has been pivotal in my recovery. Depending on the funds raised, my goal is to work with him for as long as possible. These funds will also cover the travel and lodging expenses necessary to receive care at his clinic in Michigan. Additionally, these funds will help cover essential day-to-day living expenses, allowing me to focus on healing until I’m strong enough to return to work full-time. Beyond that, they will support ongoing therapies critical to my recovery, including neuro-rehabilitation, medications, diagnostic tests, IV treatments, and injections guided by a double board-certified neurosurgeon.

Your generosity will not just fund treatments; it will provide a lifeline—a chance to rebuild and reclaim the life I’ve been fighting for. Whether it’s through a donation, sharing my story, or offering your prayers, your kindness will make a difference.

Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering being part of my journey. Together, I believe we can turn this fight into a victory.
With all my heart,
Megan

Hello, my name’s Noah, and I’m posting this on behalf of my friend and sister in Christ. Since I met her in our fellowship group over a year ago, I’ve come to know Megan as a person who loves others in so many of the ways we’re called to love. She is kind and loyal, she exemplifies a servant’s heart, and most of all she is resilient. Through her, I’ve learned so much of how the Holy Spirit can provide us with the strength we need, even when we might lose hope. But she is not okay, and her community desperately wants to see her better. We want Megan to be able to leave her house for a social outing more than once a week and not have to go home in agonizing pain or debilitating lethargy. We want Megan to be able to work so that she doesn’t have to feel like a burden to her loving family and friends (even though that couldn’t be further from the truth). We want Megan to enjoy the more active parts of life she once excelled at. More than anything, we want Megan to experience God’s love and healing, just as she has spread it.

So for those considering supporting her, your donations and prayers are appreciated. Thank you, and may God bless you and keep you.
