Join Me in Uplifting Young Women in STEM for My Birthday
Donation protected
Searching for what makes our hearts glad can take time, but oh, what a joy it is when we finally find it. For me, one of those joys is outreach, especially serving under-resourced youths in STEM.
Last year, to mark my 25th birthday, I invited friends and family to support a dream close to my heart: the launch of the GINAE Fellowship through EKO Global Foundation, a program created to empower under-resourced young women in STEM. Read more here: GINAE Fellowship.
And you showed up!
Thanks to your generous donations, we raised $350 and were able to support three incredible pioneering GINAE Fellows — giving each a $100 stipend and covering internet costs for every meeting they joined.
As my birthday comes around again, I’m inviting us to support the next GINAE Co-hort and provide a laptop for each fellow to support their studies; connect with mentors, and participate fully in our virtual workshops; fund the fellows to design and lead a community outreach project of their own; continue offering a stipend and internet compensation to ease their participation and even excitingly fund the fellows to conduct a educational outreach event.
Budget for our next 3 GINAE Fellows
$350 for laptop/student *3 = $1050
$150 stipend/student * 3 = $450
$500 fund for all fellows' collaborative educational outreach event
How exciting is that?
Please join me in making this birthday even more meaningful by helping raise hope and create real impact for our youth.
Let’s go again. Let’s go bigger. Let’s raise hope.
