Join me in the fight for girls' education
Hi there! Maybe you know already that I've been practicing Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over a decade, and I recently received my black belt. I'm very lucky to be making my debut in the Enyo Grappling Women's Invitational on February 25th.
Women's participation in this sport has not always been easy; this is unique chance to showcase how much women's participation in this sport has grown over the last few years. You can find out more about Enyo from the Eventbrite page here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/enyo-2-submission-only-jiujitsu-tickets-407391919197
Most of you can't make it to Southampton for this event, but I will need your support anyways! As part of the invitational, I am going to be forwarding my payment from the event to another great cause - advancing women's participation in society through access to education. Please join me.
I'm raising money to benefit The Malala Fund UK, and any donation will help make an impact. Malala Fund is working for a world where all girls can learn and lead.
Women's participation in society includes sport, but it starts with access to education. The knock-on effects are endless; better health outcomes, economic prosperity, climate justice, and a more prosperous society.
Malala Fund advocates for resources and policy changes needed to give all girls a secondary education, invests in local education leaders and amplifies the voices of girls fighting for change.
