In September, I’m spending 6 weeks volunteering at a local school in Ghana, teaching English to children. The students I’m working with are eager to learn, but many of them lack access to basic school supplies that help make education possible. Things like pens, notebooks, reading materials, and even chalk for the classroom.

This fundraiser is not for me or for travel costs.

I’m asking for support so I can help provide much-needed school supplies and learning resources directly to the children and the school where I’ll be volunteering.

Your donations will go toward:

Exercise books, pens, and pencils and reading books.

Learning English is part of the national curriculum in Ghana and having basic resources can make a huge difference in how well students learn. This isn’t only about me “giving” them education it’s also about helping create an environment where they can thrive with the resources they deserve.

I will be buying the supplies locally in Ghana, to support local businesses and keep the costs affordable. I’ll also stay in close communication with the school to ensure the funds are spent on what’s actually needed.

I’ll happily share updates and photos (with the school’s permission) so you can see exactly where your support is going.
