My heart is broken as I share that my mom has passed away today. Just two weeks ago, on the last day of my trip to Brazil, she suffered a severe stroke. She was admitted to the ICU, placed on life support, and remained unconscious for almost 10 days. Today, she left us.

I need to travel back to Brazil to take care of her funeral arrangements and say my final goodbye. Unfortunately, the costs are overwhelming—airline tickets, transportation, funeral expenses, and everything that comes with this sudden loss.
