I’ve set a goal for myself that’s equal parts exciting and intimidating: completing the Half Ironman in Waco this October. It’s something I’ve wanted to take on, not just for the physical challenge, but for what it represents: discipline, resilience, and following through on something that genuinely matters to me.
Training for this race has already pushed me in ways I didn’t expect. Long workouts, and learning to stay consistent even when it’s tough have all been part of the process. It’s been incredibly rewarding, but it also comes with real costs, race registration, travel, gear, and nutrition all add up quickly.
I’m working toward covering as much as I can on my own, but I’m opening this up to anyone who wants to be part of the journey. If you’ve ever chased a big goal, or just appreciate the effort it takes, I’d be grateful for your support in any form. Even sharing this means a lot.
More than anything, I’m committed to showing up on race day ready to give it everything I’ve got. Your support helps make that possible, and I’ll carry that encouragement with me every mile of the way.
