RED WILDLIFE MET FORENSISCH ONDERZOEK 

Wie ik ben

Mijn naam is Amy Sterk en ik ben een Forensisch Onderzoek-student aan de Saxion Hogeschool in Enschede. Onlangs had ik het voorrecht om een gastcollege bij te wonen van Andro Vos, CEO en oprichter van de Wildlife Forensic Academy (WFA) in Zuid-Afrika. Zijn passie voor het bestrijden van wildlifecriminaliteit heeft mij enorm geïnspireerd, en ik ben vastbesloten om bij te dragen aan deze cruciale missie. 

Mijn doel

Om een betekenisvolle impact te maken, ben ik van plan om deel te nemen aan de 4-weekse Wildlife Forensics Training bij de WFA. Hoe jou bijdrage helpt

De totale kosten voor de 4-weekse cursus bedragen €5400. Dit bedrag dekt niet alleen mijn training, maar stelt ook lokale rangers in staat om aan hetzelfde programma deel te nemen. Deze rangers passen hun vaardigheden direct toe in het veld, wat een blijvende impact heeft in de strijd tegen wildlifecriminaliteit. Ik sta in direct contact met Andro Vos, die zijn volledige steun heeft uitgesproken voor deze inzamelingsactie. Door te doneren help je mij cruciale forensische vaardigheden op te doen, terwijl je tegelijkertijd bijdraagt aan de ontwikkeling van de WFA.

Transparantie en verantwoording 

Voor volledige transparantie beheren mijn ouders de ingezamelde fondsen. Het geld wordt pas vrijgegeven zodra ik aan mijn stage begin, om te garanderen dat het geld uitsluitend voor dit doel wordt gebruikt.

Who I am

My name is Amy Sterk and I am a Forensic Investigation student at Saxion University of Applied Sciences. (Located in Enschede, the Netherlands).

I recently had the privilege of attending a guest lecture by Andro Vos, the CEO and Founder of the Wildlife Forensic Academy (WFA) in South Africa. His passion for combating wildlife crime inspired me deeply, and I am determined to contribute to this vital cause.

My mission

To make a meaningful impact, I am planning to attend the 4-Week Wildlife Forensics Training Course at the WFA. How Your Contribution Helps

The total cost for the 4-week course is €5400, which covers not only my training but also enables local rangers to participate in the same program. These rangers will immediately apply their skills in the field, making a lasting impact in the fight against wildlife crime.

I have been in direct contact with Andro Vos, who has given his full support to this fundraising initiative. By donating, you are helping me gain crucial forensic skills while also supporting the development of the WFA.

In total, I plan to complete a 16-week program, which includes the 4-week course followed by an internship. I will cover my living and accommodation expenses. That way the €5400 is exclusively for the course fees, as outlined in the link above.
