Hello everyone!

I am so happy to announce that I have been admitted into the Midsummer in Oxford Program at BADA for the 2025 session! Midsummer in Oxford, which celebrated its 40th year in 2024, is one of the world’s best-known intensive residential acting courses.

Midsummer in Oxford aims to nurture and challenge the talent of participants, to develop their art, craft, collaboration and professionalism. The course is designed for students of drama, theatre or acting at undergraduate or graduate level, as well as those embarking on or pursuing a professional career in the performing arts. It uses classical theatre, particularly Shakespeare, as a lens to examine the broader craft of the actor.

The program, which is abroad at Magdalen College in the UK, offers a plethora of skill training in voice, movement, acting, Shakespeare, and clowning. This program runs every summer, and is delivered in association with the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale. The program is extremely selective and I am one of the 90 applicants that was accepted into the program. I am exploding with excitement about everything, but, tuition and accomodation fees are more than I am able to provide from my own pocket for my time at BADA.

I am reaching out to friends, family, colleagues, and esteemed former college professors and mentors for help in any way you can provide to get me to London! I understand times are hard for everyone and the load is large, but seriously, anything helps.

The audition process was something I worked diligently on and to be able to go and hone my craft even more post-grad would be not only a blessing but a dream come true.
