e devastating. From sun poisoning to frostbite and living most of her days in a cage, Maya truly knows what it's like to suffer. 3 years ago, the rescue handed me her leash and from that moment on, I've asked myself daily, "Who rescued who?" Maya is now a "camp/country" dog. She loves to bask in the sun on her favorite recliner. She spends days chasing chipmunks, squirrels (although she can't catch them). Maya is spunky and full of sass when she's around her best doggie friends.

Maya was recently diagnosed as having a stroke and upon further blood work, found that her lymphocytes levels are escalating. These labs point to either leukemia or lymphoma and further testing needs to be done to tell the type and stage. At that point, Maya can hopefully be treated with medication and continue on living her best life. Any money I am able to raise will go directly to any treatments Maya might need that I can't afford out of pocket.
