Join Matt's Fight Against Sarcoma Cancer

Greetings family and friends, as many of you know my brother Matt ‘1000 Watts” was recently diagnosed with sarcoma cancer. 

December of last year, Matt’s fiancé noticed a small lump on his back. He did not think anything of it, as it did not cause pain. Weeks went by and it was noticeably growing, so he decided to the get an opinion from his local doctor who ruled it as a lipoma but requested to have further testing done. With no feedback, Matt did not think it was anything to worry about. Late March/early April, Matt was starting to feel more pain along with a coughing up blood. He immediately rushed to the ER where they found a tumor and nodules that had metastasized. He was sent to Houston to have a biopsy performed and to have further scans done. Once he returned home he was told he would have surgery on April 29th to have the tumor removed. It was confirmed to be malignant. As of today, he is still waiting for the results of the 2nd biopsy to determine the accurate prognosis of the type of sarcoma. Yesterday, May 14th, he met with an oncologist in San Antonio who wants to start treatments right away, so today he will be admitted.

We know this whole situation is tearing Matt up, he has not been able to work and provide for his family.
