Join Matthew on his way to mobility freedom

Hi, my name is Iris Padron. I met Matthew when he was 17 years old at a special needs school, where I was volunteering. He has been a part of my life since then. Our connection was immediate. He captured my heart on the very 1st day. Matthew was born with a rare condition called Aicardi-goutier's syndrome which slowly deteriorated his health at a young age. By the age of 4, his body started to show signs of regression and soon after he became completely immobile. He's been bound to a wheelchair for the past 21 years which is why Matthew loves the feeling of freedom when he's in the water. Since Matthew is 24 he's been treated as an adult in the system and is limited to extra curriculum activities he once enjoyed. We have partnered up with several amazing professionals in our community that will be donating their time to make Matt's wish come true and here is where you come in. Although these professionals are donating their time we are still confronted with the cost of material and permit fees. Let's all come together to make his DREAM come true!
