My name is Mason Campbell I am a junior at Florida Atlantic University down in Boca Raton, FL. I am a member of Victory Church and I was sitting in on the sermon this past Sunday and my pastor started speaking about the devastation that was caused by hurricane Helene up in Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina. He went on to talk about how the church was accepting donations and supplies for a relief effort to send to a partnering church in North Carolina. I immediately started to think what could I do to help out? I started to get discouraged thinking I’m only a college student how much could I give, how much could I do to make a difference? But in that moment God spoke over me and told me there is so much I could do and it was a blessing. I started to think on plans and ways that I could give in church and my east started to race. In this day and age helping could be only one click away. God is great and he has a plan for all of us whether he is in your life or not. If you aren’t able to make a donation that’s not the only thing that helps. Prayer is the most powerful thing you can do. I know reading this your thinking why me I know other people with help out and send money but it takes all of us to help out the family’s in need.
