Our dear friend Martha Tilman has been fighting through unbearable pain for the past six months, unaware that her suffering was due to a recurring malignant mass. What was initially believed to be back pain grew progressively worse, eventually landing her in the emergency room. After five grueling days in the hospital, doctors discovered the heartbreaking truth—a cancerous tumor pressing on her nerves, causing her immense and constant pain.

This unexpected diagnosis has turned Martha’s world upside down. As she prepares to undergo treatment, her home—the place that should be a sanctuary—is in urgent need of repair and renewal. The weight of impending medical bills, combined with the overwhelming need for a livable space, has made this journey even harder.
