Join Mark's Journey to Recovery

Hello. My name is Ashley. I have had the privilege of working with Mark and Anna for three years now. During this time, I have come to know Mark not only as a supervisor but also as a friend. He has the biggest heart and is always helping others with his knowledge of plant life and making friends along the way. His personality and laughter are contagious. He is always positive and has never had a bad day.

Unfortunately, Mark has been diagnosed with colon cancer as of May 2024. He has been at the hospital for two weeks where they have removed a pulmonary embolism from his lung and released the pressure from his colon for comfort and recovery pending major surgery to remove a very large tumor that is blocking his colon. His bowels are completely obstructed, and this has been extremely uncomfortable. We are awaiting biopsy to confirm a treatment plan.

During this time of great need, we are asking for your support. No matter how big or small, each contribution will make a tremendous difference towards his journey in recovery.
