Join Markie's Fight for Recovery and Healing

A tragic accident occurred January 3rd, a devastating way to begin the new year. While using the last of the left over fireworks on New Year’s Eve with his children Mark (Markie) Stover encountered a defected one, which immediately exploded in his hand upon setting alight. His two younger children and older brother bearing witness to the bloody scene. Hearing Markie’s screams of pain and seeing his mangled hands, immediately dialing 911(waited 17minutes for ambulance to arrive)

They amputated hisindex finger on his right hand, back of thumb, middle finger amputated to first knuckle, ring finger just tip(he still has his nail). Though, shattering every single bone in right hand, he has 5 pins. His left is missing 2 finger tips, 1 pin, but in better shape remains cheerful with the fact he gets to keep his thumbs for the purpose of mobility. As well as some lacerations and burns on his face/abdomen. His spouse Lindsey is going to be his caregiver until he can eventually feed himself again, perform everyday functions and etc. They have a long road ahead of them. He is going to have to go through multiple surgeries and a lot of therapy. Any help would be greatly appreciated! We hope to raise enough to help them with bills to get through all the surgeries he is going to need.
