Join Mandy's Battle Against Cancer

Hello! This is Connie, Renae, and Emily reaching out for your support as Mandy O'Brien's college roommates and life long friends!

Our dear friend Mandy was diagnosed earlier this year with high-grade neuroendocrine cancer, a rare and aggressive type that has spread to her liver, bones, lymph nodes, and lung. After undergoing six rounds of chemotherapy at ThedaCare, we celebrated a significant reduction in her cancer. However, just six weeks after completing chemo, the cancer returned with a vengeance, causing Mandy considerable pain.

Mandy's specialist at Froedtert has recommended a powerful treatment approach, but we’ve hit a roadblock. Insurance has denied coverage twice, and now the case is pending review by a third party. This process has been expedited, but time is of the essence.

With the cancer's rapid progression, we urgently need to raise funds for two additional rounds of chemotherapy while Mandy awaits entry into a promising clinical trial at Froedtert, which has shown great results. We need to act quickly to ensure she has this chance.

This year is also a significant one for Mandy's family, as her son Stephen is graduating. We are determined to reduce Mandy’s pain so she can enjoy and celebrate this milestone event with him.
