Dear Friends and Well-Wishers,

My name is Maksud Rahman, and I am reaching out with an urgent appeal for help. I was born and raised in Bangladesh and later moved to the United States, but I’ve always stayed connected with my roots and my childhood friends. One of my closest school friends, Jarif Junaid, is in a life-threatening situation and needs our support.

Jarif’s Story

Jarif, who lives in Chittagong, Bangladesh, has been battling severe kidney disease. Unfortunately, both of his kidneys have failed, and he urgently needs a kidney transplant to survive. His doctors have set the surgery for the beginning of May, but the total cost of the procedure and related medical expenses is 15 lakh BDT (approximately $15,000 USD)—an overwhelming amount for his family.

Despite the challenges, there is hope. Thankfully, a donor has been found, and the medical team is ready to proceed. However, without financial support, this life-saving operation will not be possible.
