The funds you donate go toward our trip to Mexico, helping to provide a safe and new home to a local family. The families are selected by local churches and construction facilitated/supervised by Amor Ministries. We love helping the people there and directly support Amor Ministries year-round for activities in both Baja California and the Yucatán. We would love for you to join us on a trip there and welcome your financial support to make our journey possible. Thanks to the partnership from many of you, we were able to return to build homes in 2022, 2023, and 2024.

Lucy’s first trip was in 2013 (6 yrs old) and Ella’s was in 2016 (4 yrs old). Through these years, they’ve developed practical skills and connected to the people of Mexico in ways that are not typical of a short-term mission trip. We're now part of a community on both sides of the border, with participants and advocates spread all over the United States. Lucy has co-led a team of adults and youth in construction for two years inspiring her to become fluent in Spanish, and Ella has been involved in the vision clinic offered by our group. Our family's dedication was recognized last year with the shared family camp award from Amor. We look forward to helping again this year and passing the award onto another deserving family.

These funds will go toward our mission trip fees, which include building materials, food during our stay in Mexico, and transportation to/from San Diego, as well as one night stay after returning from Mexico. We're hoping to raise about 80% of the direct Amor trip fees and approximately 50% of our overall trip cost. Above our fundraising goal, we’ll cover the cost of our airline tickets, rental car, and hotel stay before going to Mexico, in addition to any other expenses before/after in San Diego.
