My name is Thierry "Logic" Thompson and I'm an afrosurrealist artist using art, music, and design to build worlds. I draw people from the inside out, hoping to show the many feelings and faces that we hide behind masks in our lives. Through this, I hope to inspire people to let their true selves and live their lives fully and freely.

I'm raising money to go to MICA "Maryland Institute College of Art" because even though I got a huge scholarship, I still need to cover the last of tuition in order to start school.

I need 10K to start. I have someone who has pledged 5K if I can cover the other half, so I'm here asking for help.

This isn't the first time I've tried to go to college. 15 years ago I was accepted into School of Visual Arts in NYC, and I spent an amazing semester there before my parents informed me that they could not afford for me to continue. Heartbroken, but determined to make something of myself, I've pushed forward without a formal education getting work in advertising, production, branding, and countless art shows.

I've had a lot of amazing experiences, but none of them will prepare me for long term self-sufficiency like going to school will. I've been offered positions off of good vibes and general creativity, however I lack certain skillsets in design and entrepreneurship that are extremely important if I'm going to pull my own weight on any team or during any project. I've reached the limit of what I can do on my own. And now, I just want the chance to finish the education I started years ago.

My scholarship already covers almost all of my tuition and given more time, I know I can win more awards. I just need to start. If I can start, I will absolutely finish. So I'm here asking for help.
