Join Logan's Journey to Success

Hello, my name is Logan Lemons, and I have an opportunity of a lifetime. I attend The Christian Schools of Anointed Word in Ellenwood, GA, and have been a student since I was 4 years old (K4). I am currently in the 5th grade. I have excelled academically, maintaining Principal's List and AB honor roll, and operating on a mature level, which has afforded me to be class helper. My teachers and administration can rely on me to be given tasks daily, and I follow through with excellence. I also participate in public speaking and have been selected to MC many of our school programs. I by no means take the opportunities and all that I achieve for granted and know that all my help comes from God.

This year, I was personally selected from my school, without my knowledge, by my principal to be nominated to be a part of the National Youth Leadership Forum (NYLF) Pathways to STEM and Envision by World Strides program for the Summer of 2025 at Emory University. I am so excited and nervous to announce that I've been selected to be a part of NYLF in the areas of Medicine, Engineering, or Crime Scene Investigation. NYLF had many options, as 16 schools were on the roster. I count it a blessing to get this opportunity. I know I was favored by God to be chosen to further my education. I'm just not sure in what area right now, but my mom has always called me "Dr. Lemons," and we believe this is not by chance, but by divine orchestration from the Lord.

I created this GoFundMe because in September my mom was a part of a mass layoff and is currently unemployed. There is a cost of $499 deposit by December 4th that each student has to pay, as we will be living on campus and will, of course, have our own sleeping quarters, board, and food. No amount is too small to help me meet the goal of securing this opportunity that will continue to help shape my future. I thank you in advance for your help, and I pray that as you support me, your children will receive or continue to receive the favor of God in their lives.
