8 Years of Heart: Help Lizzy Reach More People in Need

Hi, I’m Lizzy Knott. For the last eight years, my mission has been simple but vital: making sure our neighbors experiencing homelessness are seen, cared for, and supported.

What started as a personal project out of my own pocket—building care packages and providing hotel rooms during freezing nights—has grown into a lifelong calling. I believe that a little bit of dignity goes a long way, whether that is a warm pair of socks, a clean washcloth, or a safe place to sleep.

Our Goal: $50,000 Every dollar raised goes directly toward purchasing essential supplies and providing emergency shelter. Our "Care Packets" are designed to provide immediate relief, hygiene, and comfort.

What Your Donation Provides: We are currently stocking up on the following essentials to build our next round of care packages:

Shelter & Warmth: Tents, tarps, sleeping bags, pillows, blankets, and single air mattresses (with sheets). We also provide hand, feet, and toe warmers for the winter months.

Hygiene & Personal Care: Soap, body wash, shampoo/conditioner, deodorant, toothbrushes/toothpaste, razors, shaving cream, combs/brushes, and feminine hygiene products.

Health & Wellness: First-aid supplies (Band-Aids, Q-tips, hand sanitizer) and over-the-counter pain relief (Tylenol, Motrin, Advil).

Clothing: New socks, underwear (all sizes), leggings, and rain ponchos.

Nutrition: Bottled water, juice, and shelf-stable snacks (crackers, chips, granola bars, and mints).

Storage: Backpacks and various sizes of heavy-duty plastic bags to keep belongings dry.
