Hello, my name is Pam Zeller, and I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my sister, Lisa’s story.
Many of you know that Lisa has faced serious health challenges, requiring a liver transplant. Thankfully, she received a life-saving liver donation! However, while the transplant itself was covered by insurance, many critical expenses are not, such as the out of pocket deductible.
Why We Need Your Support:
Lisa must stay near the transplant center for at least one month, which comes with significant costs including:
- temporary housing near the hospital (eg VRBO, hotels or an apartment
- parking fees for the month at the VRBO, hotel or apartment
- parking fees, for appointments, test and blood work
- costly co-pays for essential immunotherapy drugs (one prescription alone is $450 per month)
- daily living expenses, including food while living in Boston
- specialized medical equipment to aid in her recovery
Additionally, Lisa‘s dedicated donor and caregivers have given their time and energy to support her recovery. Your generosity will help ease the financial burden on them as well.

Who She Is:
Lisa is an outgoing, fun, loving, beloved sister and daughter, and a dedicated employee who considers her coworkers as family. She has shown immense courage while navigating the complications of this disease. She is brave and is dedicated to her recovery in her new lease on life.
