Join Lexi’s Battle Against Cancer

Thank you to those of you taking the time to read this. Never did I think I would have to make a GoFundMe, especially under these circumstances. This GoFundMe was set up for my Sister, Alexis Do. Just 2 weeks ago, my sister and our family were given the worst news we could imagine. Lexi was diagnosed with Cholangiocarcinoma, also known as Bile Duct cancer or Liver cancer. This type of cancer is aggressive and incredibly rare with only 8,000 cases a year. We were very hopeful that we would recieve the best possible scenario, that the cancer had not metastasized (spread) and surgery to remove it would be on the table. After waiting a week to hear back from the team of surgeons, we were given the miraculous news that she is able to move forward with surgery. In addition to surgery, the team of surgeons agreed that starting Chemotherapy will give her the best chance of removing any possible leftover cancer cells. Chemotherapy is a lengthy process and takes an enormous toll on the body physically and mentally. Lexi will be unable to work at this time and will need full time care. Those of you that know my sister, know that her and her husband Tim just welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Frankie, in April. With the financial stress of a newborn and now the stress of this new journey she will be taking, we are looking for help from friends, family, and even strangers willing and able to support her during this time.
