Join Leslie's fight against brain Cancer Recovery Fund

I’m reaching out on behalf of our dear friend Leslie, who is courageously recovering from brain cancer. Recently, doctors discovered a 5.6 cm tumor on the left side of her brain, explaining the debilitating headaches and discomfort she had been experiencing. The diagnosis came just as she was beginning her dream job at Delta.

In search of answers, she traveled to Peru to get checked, sensing that something wasn’t right. The devastating news was unimaginable. “Cancer” with unwavering strength, she immediately returned to the U.S. to begin treatment. Throughout this battle, her husband, mom, dad, sister, children, and loved ones have been by her side every step of the way, offering love and support.

Now, as she focuses on healing and recovery, we are rallying around her to ease the financial burden of medical expenses, treatment costs, and everyday needs as she will continue with chemotherapy. Despite the incredible strength she shows, the cost of care, travel, and time away from work is immense.

Me dirijo a ustedes en nombre de nuestra querida amiga Leslie, quien está enfrentando con valentía un cáncer cerebral. Recientemente, los médicos descubrieron un tumor de 5.6 cm en el lado izquierdo de su cerebro, lo que explica las intensas migrañas y molestias que ha estado soportando. Este diagnóstico llegó justo cuando iniciaba el trabajo de sus sueños en Delta.

Buscando respuestas, Leslie viajó a Perú para someterse a exámenes médicos, ya que sentía que algo no andaba bien. La devastadora noticia fue inimaginable: cáncer. Con una fortaleza inquebrantable, regresó de inmediato a Estados Unidos para comenzar su tratamiento. En esta ardua batalla, su esposo, madre, padre, hermana, hijos y seres queridos han estado a su lado en todo momento, brindándole amor y apoyo constantes.

Ahora, mientras se enfoca en su recuperación, nos unimos para aliviar la carga económica que conllevan los gastos médicos, costos de tratamiento y necesidades diarias, ya que continuará con la quimioterapia. A pesar de la increíble fortaleza que demuestra, los costos de atención médica, desplazamientos y el tiempo fuera del trabajo son abrumadores.
