In December 2023, Leroy was diagnosed with Peripheral Artery Disease and a blood clot in his knee, requiring a stint. By March 2024, another clot appeared in his foot, followed by more clots in the stint and multiple surgeries, including a vein bypass. Despite the efforts of his doctors the only remaining option was amputation. Even with these setbacks, Leroy remains determined to heal and continue fighting the good fight.

The amputation was a sudden and heartbreaking turn, but Leroy remains determined to heal and keep fighting. The journey has been long, painful, and exhausting, but his spirit stays strong. Now, he needs the support of his community more than ever. We are reaching out to help him catch up on overwhelming medical and other essential bills to ensure he can continue his recovery.
