Hello everyone my name is Leah and this fundraiser is being started to help support my Mom who has been battling metastatic lobular stage 4 breast cancer since October of 2023. I am quickly going to jump into her story below.

My mother has always been the cornerstone of our family, a vibrant source of love and strength that illuminated even the darkest days. Her laughter always used to fill the rooms in our home, creating an atmosphere of warmth and safety. Now, as she battles stage 4 breast cancer, I witness a different side of her resilience. Despite the challenges she faces, she continues to inspire us with her unwavering spirit and determination. Throughout this journey, our roles have reversed in many ways—as I strive to be a source of comfort and support for her. We've learned to embrace the fragility of life, celebrating the small victories and finding beauty in the everyday. Her fight has bonded us in a profound way, instilling in me a deep appreciation for her strength and an unwavering commitment to stand by her side, no matter the outcome.

Compounding her struggles, she now deals with lymphedema in her arm, a constant reminder of her journey that requires ongoing management. Throughout it all, her resilience shines as a beacon of hope, inspiring those around her with her strength and determination.
