Join Lars's Journey to the Tiki Bowl

Hi there!! My name is Lars Acosta and I am a football player at Rancho Buena Vista High School in Vista, CA! I am a junior from the class of 2026 and I play mainly offensive line (Center, left guard, and left tackle) for my team.

Football was something that I picked up freshman year and knew as soon as I put on the pads that it is what I want to do. I was pulled up to varsity my sophomore year at the first game of the season and have started every game since then.

Football has brought me so many friends and valuable mentors into my life. I have gotten so much love and support that I’ve never thought I would've had in my life! Very recently, I got a text from Coach Fillipp of SAU, and he told me that I have been blessed with the opportunity to show my talent at the Tiki Bowl in Honolulu, HI this December!!

This exciting opportunity will allow me to see and explore the island, experience new things, get seen and coached by college coaches, and will help me get the chance to play college ball!

Unfortunately, my family has been going through some financial difficulties, and we’re not sure that we have enough money to be able to pull this off and get me to Hawaii. The cost of this trip is $3,295, and it will include:

• Round trip airfare

• Five nights at a hotel

• A tour of the island

• Team activities and the Tiki Game

• An authentic Polynesian Luau

• Game jerseys

• Legit HTB Tiki Bowl gear
