Join Lang's Fight Against Cancer

In December 2023, my dear brother-in-law, Lang McGowan, was diagnosed with a rare form of blood cancer, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, (MDS). The only cure for MDS is chemotherapy and a bone marrow transplant. The prognosis without treatment is short so time is of the essence.

Lang is receiving care at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. The transplant will require Lang and Bobette to relocate to Rochester for at least 90 days. After this time, he will continue to be monitored in Rochester for at least 1-2 days, every week, for up to one year.

Lang and Bobette never imagined they would be in this position in their lifetime. They are being faced with tremendous financial expenses including medical, transportation, and housing, and are in need of financial support and prayers during this trying time.
