Join Lachlan's Path to Diagnosis at Mayo

Hello friends and strangers alike. My name is Lachlan and I’m trying to get to Mayo Clinic to have my complex chronic illness diagnosed. I had a video appointment with them this morning and they said they want me at their Jacksonville clinic ASAP for specialized testing that we don’t have here in Pensacola. They suspect I have some form of IBD. So, I need help traveling to Jacksonville and staying in Jacksonville.

Jacksonville is just 5 hours away, but I don’t have a ride, so I’ll have to fly unless I find one. If you would like to drive me to Jacksonville, just text me otherwise, a flight will be about $250.

Then there’s the stay. There are plenty of Airbnbs near Mayo for around $100 a night. I’m estimating I’ll need to be there for 2-3 nights, so that’s about $300. If you know somewhere I can stay in Jacksonville though, just text me.

So for now, I’m looking to raise funds. I’m going to make the goal $800, and that should be plenty for me to travel, stay, and Uber back and forth to the clinic from my Airbnb.
