Our beloved Kody, a vibrant young athlete and high school runner/swimmer, was struck by a car on June 18th, 2024, while on a run. Despite safely moving to the side of the road, a driver hit him, causing him to flip over the car.
Kody was airlifted to the hospital with a serious injury. He has a large wound in his elbow, a torn tricep, a fractured elbow, and extensive scrapes and bruising. He's already undergone one surgery and faces at least one or two more, including skin grafts and tendon repair. His recovery is estimated to take over a year.
