Our Sweet Fighter
We are devastated to share that our precious 7-year-old, King , has been diagnosed with liver cancer hepatoblastoma — a rare and aggressive form of pediatric cancer.
Just weeks ago, he was running around, full of life, laughter, and dreams. Now, Mikal and Missy will find themselves in and out of the hospital, navigating biopsies, scans, chemotherapy, and soon, surgery.

The Journey Ahead
King is currently being treated in Tampa under the care of a dedicated team of pediatric oncologists. The treatment plan is intense and will span several months (or more), including:
• Multiple rounds of chemotherapy
• Frequent travel to and from the hospital
• Surgical procedures
• Long recovery periods and follow-up scans
• Ongoing emotional and physical therapy
