Join Kim Mazerolle's Battle Against Cancer

Hello, my name is Alicia McDougall and I’m fundraising for my mother, Kim Mazerolle. In July 2023, after becoming ill, my beautiful, kind, generous mother was diagnosed with Invasive Adenocarcinoma. She has a tumor in her Bile Duct.

Her and my father put their lives on hold and stayed in Maine this winter while she underwent chemotherapy and immunotherapy to try and shrink the tumor and stabilize her cancer. Sadly these medications did not work and the cancer has now spread to her liver. Her oncologist here has offered infusions of medications to try and treat two of the several mutations her tumor has but this will only “possibly” prolong her life. Unfortunately her tumor is inoperable and therefore her cancer incurable according to doctors here. In an effort to give her a better chance we’ve decided to pursue treatment at an alternative clinic in Arizona. We’ve done lots of research and talked to several people who have also been to this clinic and have seen great success. We are hopeful that Mom will see the same great success. This endeavor is very expensive and that is why I’ve decided to fundraise to help offset the cost. I would like this to stay private so Mom does not know the cost and cause her more undue stress which she’s already dealing with plenty of as you can imagine.
