Hello friends, family, and my cycling community,

Its Kian Reid, high school student and bike racer from Wenatchee, Washington.

I am super excited that USA Cycling has selected me to represent my country at the World Championships in Crans-Montana, Switzerland. It is one of the biggest honors, and I am stoked for this opportunity to again race on a global stage.

With the team covering some of my fees, I want to help my family with the remaining travel costs. Competing at this level is very expensive and any support makes a difference.

The race is on September 12th at 8 a.m. PST. Live video coverage may not be available, but links to live results and any other feeds will be shared.

I have continued to train hard since US Nationals and I am confident in my fitness. I am placing more pressure on myself for this race because my expectations are high, and I need to learn to excel under pressure if I am going to be the best that I can be.

I am thankful for all the support that I have received over the years to help make this possible. I realize that I am living a dream right now with all of these amazing opportunities and I am really grateful. Thanks to family, friends, supporters, and my cycling community for being part of this journey.
