Hi Friends and Family,

As many of you know, Kent has been a very dedicated Scout since he joined long ago as a Tiger. Now a Star rank, he continues to achieve merit badges, attend weekly meetings, and is working towards being an Eagle Scout.

Kent has his heart set on attending the 2026 National Jamboree! Our council will be taking campers on a 3-day tour of Washington, D.C. before heading to the Jamboree for 7 days. He is very excited about many things, including going to the nation's capital, doing a bugling course, sailing boats, and climbing rope courses. As you can imagine, the total cost is high ($4500, not including spending money).

The National Jamboree is an incredible event, bringing together around 40,000 Scouts, leaders, and staff. It’s only held every four years, so this will be his one and only chance to attend.
