Hi everyone!

My name is Kayla and I’m 16 years old. This summer, my mom and I have the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Guatemala from June 27 – July 4 through our church.

We will be serving alongside local ministries by doing things like:

• Helping build homes

• Working with children’s programs

• Distributing food and water filters

• Supporting sustainable garden projects

• Sharing the love of Jesus with the people there

This trip means so much to me because I’ve never done anything like this before, and I really feel like God is calling me to step out in faith and serve others in a bigger way.

I’m also really grateful that I get to experience this with my mom. It’s special to be able to go together, serve together, and grow in our faith together.

The cost of the trip includes airfare, travel medical insurance, lodging, meals, and transportation. I am working to raise about $1,400 and any donation—big or small—would help so much and would be appreciated.

Even if you aren’t able to donate, I would truly appreciate your prayers for safety, for the people we will meet, and that we can make a difference while we are there, and maybe someone there will have they’re lives changed!
