Hello, my name is Deidre and I’m starting this GoFundMe for my friend Kate.

Kate is a mom of 2 and she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. As you could imagine, dealing with cancer treatment and reduced schedules at work takes a toll emotionally and adds stress financially.

We are more than friends but a blended family. We share the common bond of her son and my stepson, Aaron. I am trying to help alleviate the financial burden she will face in the coming months while she kicks cancer's ass! She has a strong team behind her cheering her on
