I never thought I would have to do this, but I’m Kasey. I am Kelvin Goss’ little sister. Many of you who know my brother know how big of a heart he has and the passion he has as a chef. Kelvin lives in NOLA, he is by himself with no family near. He is currently a pastry chef at Emeril Lagasse. About a month ago, Kelvin had a seizure while at work. When he went back to work, he passed out and fell into the cooler and now has a brain bleed. He then went back to work again for the 3rd time and had another seizure. He has been in the hospital for the last 5 days having a ton of testing done on his brain and heart. He doesn’t want anyone to worry about him, so he tried to keep it a secret. Kelvin has had a heart monitor placed and a mobile monitor connected as well. The doctors believe he has a rare heart disease and has to be closely monitored by his team of doctors. They will continue to do more testing on his heart and brain to get the official diagnosis.

While all of this is happening, they are giving him a hard time. He does not have insurance at the moment and is trying to figure out a plan. On top of all of this, while he was in the hospital, he lost power and had no idea. His roof has been dripping non-stop because of all the rain, and a lot of his stuff now is wet and ruined.
