My dear friend Karli Weltzin has been diagnosed with a very aggressive breast cancer, but on the other side, she is a very aggressive fighter.

The thing I admire most about Karli (besides being the best mama & friend) is that she is listening to her gut, and trusting her faith that traditional chemo/radiation isn't the best way to be cancer free, and I couldn't agree with her more.

Instead, she has opted for the most holistic care, which is going to allow her body to heal itself vs. destroying it in hopes that the treatment takes. This may sound like sunshine and rainbows, but she does 8 HOURS OF TREATMENT most days. And to top if off, INSURANCE DOESN'T COVER IT. The mental battle is also exhausting and extensive. She is a ray of light; always has the most positive attitude, but the day-to-day is challenging (she's just not going to share that!).
