Join Kali's Fight Against Cancer

Kali and Dion were married October 7, 2023. They are high school sweethearts who were made for each other. Instead of enjoying being newlyweds, they are dealing with a catastrophic diagnosis.

In 2019, Kali received a kidney transplant that gave her back her life to love and enjoy. She has been living life to its fullest ever since. That is, until she was diagnosed with Monomorphic Post-Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disorder (PTLD). This is a type of cancer that can occur after an organ transplant. It is related to the immunosuppressive therapy required to prevent organ rejection.

Kali will now need to begin intensive treatment to battle this cancer. Chemotherapy will be administered in cycles. Each cycle involves several days of continuous chemotherapy that will require her to be hospitalized. For this reason, Kali will no longer be able to work and will need to focus on her health and healing. This Go Fund Me campaign aims to help Dion and Kali through her treatment by helping to cover her lost wages and living expenses.
