Join Juliett In Supporting Her Dad After A Heart Attack

Hello everyone. My name is Juliett, and I'm the daughter of Salvador, who recently had a very serious cardiac arrest. On April 17th, during the early morning, we were awoken to him struggling to breathe and having a cardiac seizure, which later led to his heart fully stopping. I tried to help him by giving him CPR, waiting for paramedics to arrive. After a long 45 minutes of attempting to revive him, over double the legal CPR amount of 20 minutes, and by the grace of GOD, paramedics found a pulse. They brought him to the hospital where he was on life support for one day. By another miracle, he woke up, despite doctors telling us he was in very serious condition. I cannot fathom how my dad is still here with us today after what happened a few days ago, but I’m eternally thankful for all of it.

Doctors still can’t figure out what happened, but he got a defibrillator to shock his heart in case it happens again. He can’t drive or work his regular job, since it’s physically demanding, for at least 1-6 months. He is also trying to recuperate his memory, an effect of being gone for so long.

This was completely unexpected, we do not have an emergency fund to help pay bills when things like this happen. My dad needs help; he owns a small business and needs to pay a few bills. He can’t drive, so he needs to be riding Ubers every so often. He also has two kids he helps support financially. The stress from financial issues is impeding him from having the recovery he needs.

Please, help him recover safely so that he doesn’t have to go to work ill. May God bless you all as he has blessed us.
