Hi friends & family, some of you may know that my son Blake has been living with Ulcerative Colitis, a chronic autoimmune disease, since he was diagnosed in 2016. He’s done his best to manage it through medication and diet, but sometimes it's been a tough road. Last year, a debilitating salmonella infection set him back, causing significant weight loss and a return of symptoms. Now, he’s trying to get things under control without the need to switch to stronger medications such as infusions or injections. He has found a specialist-led program dedicated to healing Crohn’s & Colitis that has helped others with this disease regain control of their health through functional medicine, in-depth tests, nutrition support and supplements.
He doesn’t like to draw attention to his health struggles, but as a mom, I just want to see him feel well again. This program could make a difference for him, but it does come at a financial cost which is not covered by his health insurance. His dad and I have contributed to this fund and will continue to provide our support in hopes that this program will make a positive difference in his health. If you are in a position to help, any donation would mean so much to him and would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking time to read this and for any support you can give.
