Help Judy Lambeth’s Daughter Tammy Through Medical Crisis

Our dear friend Judy Lambeth’s daughter, Tammy Weddle Smith, is currently hospitalized in San Francisco and facing a serious medical crisis.

Tammy has been diagnosed with a tumor on her pancreas and is preparing to undergo major surgery. At this time, she is not stable enough to travel back home to Kentucky, and her recovery will require extended care in California.

Tammy has dedicated her career to helping others as a traveling nurse. Because she works on contract, she only gets paid when she is actively working. On top of the emotional toll of this diagnosis, the financial burden is overwhelming.

While insurance covers some of the costs, there are urgent needs that require support, including:

• A portion of her hospital stay

• Critical medications

• A place to stay during recovery after surgery

• Family care needs

Judy and her family have given so much to our community over the years — and now it’s our turn to show up for them.
