On July 7th, my life was forever changed when I received my diagnosis of Stage II Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. This journey continues to be a rollercoaster, but I know I’m not alone. And so I’m turning these silent moments of uncertainty into an opportunity to lean in, reach out, and hold onto faith.

This birthday looks a little different for me as I’m undergoing 5 weeks of radiation. So I ask this year that you forgo the traditional birthday gift, and consider showing your support through donating towards my medical bills. While I’m lucky enough to have medical insurance and receive great care, the out of pocket expenses during these past few months of cancer treatment was something I wasn’t expecting or prepared for.
