Join Josh's Fight Against Squamous Cell Carcinoma
In moments of hardship and uncertainty, it is the unwavering support and compassion of our community that helps us find the strength to persevere. Today, we come together to support my brother, Josh in his brave battle against squamous cell carcinoma.
In early June, Josh was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, a common form of skin cancer after a mass grew on his tongue. Josh will undergo surgery to remove the mass, which will require removing a large part of his tongue and lymph nodes. He will need a feeding tube, tracheotomy, and intensive therapy to regain speech and the ability to swallow. He’ll likely need chemo and radiation after surgery.
During his recovery, he’ll be unable to work and his employer of 16 years doesn’t offer medical disability benefits.
Josh is a loving husband and father to 3 teenagers and the medical bills and day-to-day expenses are already piling up. Josh is currently off work pending his surgery on July 10th. His inability to talk has caused him to not be able to continue working.
Every donation, every gesture of kindness, and every word of encouragement makes a difference. Your contribution can provide vital resources for Josh and his family as they navigate this challenging journey. Together, we can offer them hope, comfort, and the reassurance that they are not alone in this fight.
Join us in making a meaningful impact and showing Josh that he has a strong network of support behind him. Your generosity will not only aid in his treatment but also serve as a beacon of hope during this difficult time.
Let's stand united in the face of cancer and support Josh with love, strength, and unwavering solidarity.
Together, we can make a difference.
