Hello, my name is José Quiroz. Thank you for taking the time to read our story.
My wife Adrienne, mother to our beloved daughter, is currently recovering in the ICU after going into septic shock from a respiratory infection. We’re incredibly grateful that she is showing signs of improvement and slowly regaining strength. Once she recovers from sepsis, she will face yet another surgery—this time for a parastomal hernia.
Adrienne has endured an unimaginable health journey over the years, including pancolitis/ulcerative colitis, multiple C. diff infections, and ileostomy surgery that saved her life. Through it all, she’s remained incredibly strong—but the emotional, physical, and financial toll continues to grow. We’ve reached a point where I can’t carry this burden alone.
Adrienne requires a specific diet due to her current medical needs. We’re managing daily expenses, specialized food, and transportation for doctor appointments. Along side , continuing to support our child’s therapies. To help organize meal support and other needs, we’ve created a “Give In Kind” page—but we understand it requires a login, so we’ve also set up this GoFundMe to make it easier for those who’d like to help in any way.
Every contribution—no matter how small—helps provide Adrienne the care and stability she needs to heal. Your support truly means the world to our family, as I will be using all my resources and energy to continue to support my family.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
