Join Jordan’s Journey to Beat Leukemia

Take a moment to picture your child or a loved one. Now, picture that person receiving a cancer diagnosis a week before their 20th Birthday. This is what happened to Jordan just a few weeks ago. He was diagnosed with Leukemia just a few days before his 20th Birthday. As you all can imagine, this shocking and life-changing news has and will impact so many people in Jordan’s life. While Jordan and his family try to navigate this “new norm” we would like to help make this rather difficult road a little less bumpy for them and they have a long way to travel.

By raising money to help Jordan and his family on their journey, our #1 goal is to help put their minds at ease with the financial aspect of all of this. Please take a moment to read about when Jordan’s Mom, Karie, learned of his diagnosis.

“In May 2024 Jordan wasn’t feeling his normal self so we went to the family doctor. They pricked his finger, his hemoglobin was at a 5. They immediately said to take him to an ER. We arrived at Dayton Children's ER and they took blood. ALL his blood levels are low…red, white, platelets. The term leukemia was first introduced. Wait, what??? This is a healthy, thriving 19-year-old!!!

Long story short, they did some blood transfusions, did a bone marrow biopsy and then the official diagnosis came – T-cell ALL Leukemia. This diagnosis sucks. Shock, disbelief, anger, sadness, frustration! You name the emotion, we’ve been there.

In early June, he received his port, a spinal tap, and his first chemo treatments. So here we go, we’re on our 30 days of aggressive chemo to kick this leukemia out of his body. He got the lay down of his chemo treatments for the next 2 1/2 years. Instead of looking forward to his Senior year at BGSU, he will be fighting Leukemia. They told him he would need to take a year off from college. His job now is to beat these Leukemia cells. The few good “ninja” cells left need to help him do it.”

Please pray for Jordan❤️
