This year, I will be running in the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. I have chosen to make my experience more meaningful by running for Equine Dreams Equine Assisted Services Program.

Equine Dreams has been running for 29 years and provides free equine-assisted services to hundreds of children, adults, and veterans with special needs in numerous counties in Northern Illinois. Therapeutic riding uses equine-assisted services to contribute positively to the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being of individuals with disabilities. Equine Dreams is volunteer-run and donation-driven. Every dollar raised goes towards providing free sessions to those with special needs.
